WEDDING

Congratulations on your engagement. All the wedding planning can be stressful, but we want to make the invitation process easy and fun.

Invitations

Wedding invitations should be mailed 6-8 weeks prior to the wedding date. Be prepared to start looking at invitations at least 4-6 months before the date. Printing time can take between 2-6 weeks depending on the process you choose (thermography, letterpress, engraving, offset). You will also want to build in time to receive the invitations from the printer and for addressing the envelopes. We recommend that one envelope be stuffed and weighed at the post office prior to mailing. Hand canceling the envelope would make for a better presentation, especially if the addresses are hand calligraphed.

When you come to look at wedding invitations, think about what type of event you are having - a casual, outdoor wedding or an elegant black tie evening affair, contemporary or traditional, a large event or small family gathering? These details will help our sales associates guide you in the right direction.

Save the Dates

Due to busy schedules and destination weddings, Save the Dates are becoming a necessity for those planning a wedding. The options for Save the Dates are endless – fun and fashionable, playful and witty, or traditional and elegant. This is the first item the guests will receive about your wedding and commonly includes date, location, an itinerary of events, as well as hotel and travel information.
